For adhesive lettering and cut lettering, we require vector data. The design is cut from colored film, so all elements must be created as clean paths.
As guidelines, we recommend:
- Letter height preferably at least 15 mm
- Distance between individual paths preferably at least 2 mm
- Line thickness or web width preferably at least 2 mm
- Convert all fonts into paths/curves
- Create all paths as closed paths
- Remove or merge overlapping paths
- Avoid very fine serifs, points, and details
The smaller and more intricate a design is, the more difficult cutting, weeding, and installation become. Especially for vehicle stickers, lettering should be stable and clearly legible from a normal viewing distance.
