Even with digital printing, fonts and lines should not be too fine. Very small text or thin lines may appear faint in print or be difficult to read from a normal viewing distance.
As guidelines, we recommend:
- Fonts at least 6 pt
- Dark lines on a light background at least 0.5 pt
- Light lines on a dark background at least 1.0 pt
For vehicle stickers, you should consider not only technical printability but also later readability on the vehicle. Phone numbers, web addresses, and important notices should be designed significantly larger than standard fine print information.
